What we act on
Adverts, photos, messages and accounts that break the acceptable use rules, the listing terms or the law. We remove illegal content as soon as we know about it.
How to report
Use report a problem or email [email protected]. If someone is in danger, call 999 first.
What we can do
- Ask the person who posted it to change it.
- Remove an advert, photo or message.
- Suspend or close an account.
- Pass information to the police when the law requires it.
We tell the account holder what we did and why, unless that would put someone at risk or the law stops us.
Appeals
If we removed your content or closed your account and you think we got it wrong, email [email protected] and say why. We will look at it again and tell you the outcome.
